Sickness Advice 18th December 2012
18th December 2012
Dear Parents/Carers,
As you may have heard there is extensive sickness in school. Yesterday, there were a considerable number of children absent after weekend sickness. However, so far, there have not been many ‘phone calls today so hopefully things are returning to normal.
Please do not send your child to school if he/she is complaining of stomach pains and do not return to school until 48hours from the last sickness.
We are being extra careful regarding hygiene to prevent further cases.
The Carol Service for Davy, Trengrouse and Trelawny Classes will now take place on Thursday at 2pm at St Michael’s Church. Hopefully most children will have recovered by then. Unfortunately, it cannot take place that evening as many children/families have prior commitments. It is our last chance of performing and I do apologise to those who cannot be there due to being at work.
Children can be dismissed from the Church so please will you ensure that your child knows whether they will be going straight home or whether they need to return to school with staff to wait to be collected from there. This is really important for their safety.
The Carolaire for Boscawen and Penhaligon Classes will be tomorrow evening at school as arranged.
The visits by Boscawen Class to the residential homes for the elderly have been cancelled.
I do hope you and your families keep well over Christmas and wish you all the best for 2013.
Regards,
Liz Martin
