Sun Safety
Please remember to send your child with a hat and apply suncream as this lovely weather is due to continue for this week. The classes will be making the most of the sunshine.

Plymouth Argyle
There will be a football session at school on Wednesday 21st August from 10-3p.m. at a cost of £10 per pupil.

FOPS
THE FUN RUN was a great success and raised £1200!!Thank you to everyone who took part in the run and thanks to all the marshals, officials, Perran Surf Club, Cornwall AC, Tina from Pirate FM and our superstar barbequers! The BBQ raised around £400 of the total! Well done and thanks. SUMMER FAYRE DONATIONS – CAN YOU HELP? Saturday 13th July from 10-12 on the Inner Green (Memorial Hall if wet).
A huge thank you to all those who have left goodies so far. We are still looking for more full bottles for a bottle tombola (can be anything – squash, shampoo, pop, juice). Also toys and empty jam jars. Please leave on the hall steps or hand to the school secretary. Anyone able to bake cakes should deliver them straight to the Fayre. Thank you!

Dear Parents/Carers,

What a lovely surprise Thursday’s party was! I knew absolutely nothing about it so thank you to all who contributed in any way. It was wonderful and I loved all the music. What talent we have! It was a privilege to unveil the brilliant mosaics that were made during arts week and all the generous gifts were much appreciated!

Many visitors commented on how great the children were and how welcoming everyone was when they looked around school.

Yet again, the children have excelled at sport, winning the Cornwall Games for Basketball. Congratulations to Jessica, Frank, Harry, Kieran, Aeryn, Matti and Jay D. for being the Cornish Champions! We also won the Perranporth tennis championships on Friday!

Trengrouse  Class had a fun morning  last week at “Heartlands”  with Miss Roberson, playing their recorders in a concert and attending music workshops. Today was the pre-school and Trevithick Class sports in glorious sunshine… at last!

Mrs Tremewan attended assembly last week to encourage children to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge. Further details can be obtained from Perranporth Library.

Kate Whetter ‘s woodwind pupils also performed at Wednesday’s assembly.
