25th April 2014
Welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely Easter break and made the most of the beautiful weather.
This week we have begun to follow our new Inspire Curriculum. Our topic this half term is called Blown Away and we have attached a summary of what we will be covering. We think it is a fabulous curriculum and the children certainly seem to be enjoying it so far.
We have started studying the weather and we are recording the weather in Perranporth – maybe your child could watch a weather forecast and see what information is included.
In literacy we have been writing weather poems. They have thought of some great adjectives to describe different types of weather.
In numeracy we have started to look at column addition and we will be practising this further over the coming weeks.
PE will be outside as often as possible as we are practising for Sports Day, so please make sure your child has a full kit including trainers or plimsolls.
As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to pop and see either of us.
Thank you.
Mrs Burns and Mrs Willetts.
