DECEMBER NEWSLETTER
DAVY NEWLETTER- DECEMBER 2013.
HANDWRITING:
Well done to Jack for winning the ‘Neatest Handwriting ‘ , in Davy, and to Sidnie for ‘Most improved.’ Their work will be displayed in the hall with other super writing from other classes. (Also on the Davy Blog).
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
Don’t forgot to come to the CAROL SERVICE @ St MICHAEL’S CHURCH on MONDAY 16th DECEMBER @ 7.30.
Pupils from TRELAWNEY and DAVY need to be in the Church Hall, next door @ 7.15 so we can gather-CHRISTMAS HATS ARE WELCOME!
WHAT ANGELS!
Look out for the super Angel painting, produced by Rhea and Lucy, that is hanging with the School canvases in the Church- All of the work looks beautiful!
PERRAN BAY ART PROJECT:
I am very pleased with the high standard of artwork produced by Davy, which will be presented to the Perran Bay Residential Home in Perranporth. The work, depicting our beach, is a collection of paintings to decorate the walls of their new extension. The work is painted in acrylic paint on canvases and is of an excellent standard. They will soon be on the blog so look out for them!
This will offer a lovely opportunity for our children to make links with the older folk of the village and offer a permanent bright vibrant contribution to their home.
We will visit Perran Bay in the new year to present them. THANK YOU TO MRS KELLY!
CHRISTMAS FAYRE:
Don’t forget to pop into the MEMORIAL HALL on SATURDAY 14th DECEMBER for the CHRISTMAS FAYRE!
Lots of lovely stuff to buy, including ‘yummy and smelly’ things from DAVY CLASS!
CLASS XMAS PARTY- Friday 20th- Can boys bring savoury and girls bring sweet food to share, thank you!
OWN CLOTHES TOO!
DAVY ASSEMBLY:
Thank you to all those adults who were able to come to our Class Assembly- I was very proud of the children, their singing and presentation.
