6th May 2015
Dear Parents / Carers
As I’m sure you’re all aware, next week is SAT week. It is important that your child has an early night before each test and arrives at school on time each day. On the days which have a SAT test, all children are invited to have breakfast at school together from 8.30am in order to assist with this. There will be no charge for breakfast, however due to the size of the cohort in year 6, it will not be possible to provide your child with a full English breakfast each morning, but there will be fruit juice, toast with a range of spreads and fresh fruit each day.
The timetable for SAT week is below:
Day | Levels 3-5 test(s) | Level 6 test(s) |
Monday 11 May | English reading | English reading |
Tuesday 12 May | English grammar, punctuation and spelling test | English grammar, punctuation and spelling test |
Wednesday 13 May | Mental mathematics test; mathematics Paper 1 | No level 6 tests timetabled |
Thursday 14 May | Mathematics Paper 2 | Mathematics Paper 1; mathematics Paper 2 |
