4th April 2014

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had a very busy week this week, moving into our new room.  We now have access to our own outdoor area which is lovely and we are keeping our fingers crossed for plenty of good weather next term so that we can use it as much as possible!

We are not setting any homework for over the holidays, but the children should continue to read every day if possible.  Try to record each time they read and encourage them to complete the tasks in their reading records.  They could also keep a diary of all or part of their holidays, they could think about how Samuel Pepys wrote his diary.

For numeracy, they could practise their 2, 5 and 10 times tables and their number bonds to 5, 10 and 20 or 100.

But most of all, have a lovely break and a very HAPPY EASTER!
