Listen to the anthem of Cornwall (‘Trelawny- The Song of the Western Men’) and compare it to a modern pop song of your choice. Write down which is your favourite and why? Write a song or poem about a pasty, the miners traditional food.

Create your own small musical instrument that you could take down the mine to keep everyone entertained.
