In our first week together Trengrouse looked at The Heart and the Bottle, by Oliver Jeffers. We created some images and wrote a short summary of things that we are curious about as we discussed the little girl in the book, who locked her heart away after her grandfather passed away. This lead to her losing her imagination.
Luckily, she meets another little girl later in the story, who helps her regain her curiosity and unlock her heart too.
