DAVY CLASS MAY NEWSLETTER 2013

Well the end of the academic year is rapidly approaching and there is so much achieved and still more to do!

SATS TESTS.A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO THE MATURE WAY THAT OUR Y6 PUPILS ALL APPROACHED THEIR TESTS- THEY WERE A REAL CREDIT TO THE SCHOOL.ALSO WELL DONE TO THE SMALL GROUP WHO HAVE ATTEMPTED THE LEVEL 6 TESTS-THESE WERE SERIOUSLY TRICKY AND WERE CHALLENGING FOR THE ADULTS TOO!                                                      WE DO NOT RECEIVE CONFIRMATION OF THEIR FINAL SCORES UNTIL EARLY JULY SO WE WILL SHARE THESE WITH PUPILS AND PARENTS AT THIS POINT.

TRANSITION FROM Y6 TO Y7.                                   The transition to Secondary School continues with preparation and visits to Secondary Schools:

RICHARD LANDER PUPILS ;                            TUESDAY JUNE 11TH IS A DAY OF DT WORK WITH MRS WATTS, FROM RLS, FOLLOWED BY AN EVENING FOR PARENTS AT PERRANPORTH SCHOOL AT 6PM.

RLS TRANSITION DAYS ARE ON TUESDAY 2ND AND WEDNESDAY 3RD JULY –PUPILS WILL BE PICKED UP, BY COACH, FROM PERRANPORTH SCHOOL AT 8.40 am.

TRETHERRAS PUPILS:

TRANSITION DAY- WEDNESDAY  26TH JUNE –PUPILS WILL BE PICKED UP FROM PERRANPORTH SCHOOL, BY COACH,AT 8.40am.

 

 

SPORTS DAY KS2. Sports Day this year for KS2 will be on Thursday 20th June at 1.30pm.

DAVY PRODUCTION- MON 8th July @ 7pm, TUES 9th July matinee @ 2pm and evening performance @ 7pm.             We are in full flow with our rehearsals and preparation for the play-Please help us to make it successful by encouraging your child to share learning of lines and by helping them to get costumes and props organised.

SCHOOL CAMP AT PORTHPEAN-     15th-17th July 2013.

Thank you for your response to the letters for Camp- Most of the money is now in-£130 total, that includes a non-returnable £20 deposit. Please settle up quickly with any outstanding money owed.                             Please start to look at the kitlist over ½ term hols so any missing items can be bought or, even better, borrowed!
